Ongoing dream community

Efi Kromydas
CSTP 1 Graduate | Coach Leader | Logistics & Customer service Coordinator Perrigo

I no longer believe in luck and coincidences, but in synchronicity. It's no coincidence that we have found all these people in this community. Each person comes from a different path and has a different goal, but I believe that deep down, everything starts from a common dream—vision. Let's first get to know ourselves better, then offer it to others, and let us all reach bliss. So, thank you to all the fantastic people who make up this ongoing dream community. We continue with joy, optimism, inspiration, and creativity to conquer our dream!

I won even more

Eirini Rabaouni, ACC
CSTP 7 Graduate | Life Coach | Educator | MSc Philosophy & Management

I started this program with the goal of becoming a professional coach. Throughout my training, I gained scientifically based knowledge and had meaningful conversations that everyday life often doesn't allow. I also joined a special community, connected with new people, laughed, moved, experienced, and created awareness. I challenged myself, went beyond my limits, and gained tools for self-awareness and dialogue. I completed my first coaching sessions and was evaluated according to the high criteria of the ICF. Obtaining my diploma means much more to me than just becoming a certified professional coach, although that was my initial goal. I am grateful to Barbara for the gifts and support throughout this journey.

Ioannis Georgiou
CSTP 6 Graduate | Coach Leader | MSc, CTMP HR Professional | Winnipeg, Canada

After extensive research both in Greece and internationally, I made the deliberate choice to enroll in a Coaching program that uniquely integrates the principles and wisdom of Ancient Greek philosophy. This decision has proven to be justified as I have been able to immerse myself in the art of coaching with a parallel approach to the teachings of the ancient Greek philosophers, who are considered the founders of modern coaching. The program offers a wealth of educational material and is thoughtfully structured to accommodate the needs of working students. Notably, the program's academic staff consists of well-respected scientists who are not only knowledgeable but also approachable and supportive.

FAQ.

For whom is coaching training for?

There is an obvious interest from many people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, to further explore the field of coaching and even become professional coaches themselves.

The turn of people to personal introspection and offering to others starts from two different sources. The first source is the prolonged economic crisis that has led to the questioning of traditional professional choices and industries and the need to find alternatives closer to the authentic desires and true talents of the people.

The second is the era of the coronavirus which is combined with the global pause along with the awareness in areas such as the environment, human relations, individual and collective responsibility.

Motivations such as personal growth and development, discovering opportunities, setting high goals, improving leadership, supporting other people towards personal and professional progress and prosperity, social responsibility, new purpose, and vision.

As society matures and this is done mainly through challenges, it realizes the value of self-knowledge, the development of human interconnection, and the support of specialized and reliable professionals.

What is the difference between certification, approved certification, and credentialing?

Certification is the document that confirms your participation in any educational program.

Approved certification: When you complete the 100 hours of training of “Coaching Skills & Tools in Practice” you will receive not a simple certification but approved certification as ACSTH by the leading organization of professional coaches the “International Coach Federation”.

This means that the training you received meets the high standards and specifications set by the leading organization ICF and it is constantly re-examined for renewal reasons.

This way you are assured that you have invested in an always modern, reliable, and high-quality coaching training program.

In addition, from the first day you start training, you can register as a member of the ICF global body and the local chapter ICF Greece and use their logos.

Finally, and most importantly, only an approved certification can allow you to begin the credentialing process to practice coaching professionally.

Credentialling:

Your training from an ICF approved program as an ACSTH or ACSTP enables you

-Claim your accreditation.

Namely: You are entering an evaluation process by the ICF in terms of your experience and skill as a coach based on the established ICF core coaching competencies, definitions, and Code of Ethics. You can go to the ICF site and see all the requirements depending on the level of credentialing (ACC, PCC, MCC).

For example: for ACC you need:

-10 hours of mentoring to enhance the coach’s 8 ICF Core Competencies,
-100 hours of coaching sessions (a small percentage ex 25% pro-bono and the rest paid),
-A multiple-choice exam and
-A recorded session with its transcript.
-Online application on the ICF site

What do I need to work as a professional coach?

  1. BE MOTIVATED:
  2. CHOOSE AN ACCREDITED COACHING TRAINING PROGRAM, AS CSTP DOES, BY A LEADING PROFESSIONAL BODY AS ICF
  3. BECOME A MEMBER OF A RELIABLE INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL BODY AND THE CORRESPONDING LOCAL CHAPTER AS ICF GLOBAL AND ICF GREECE CHAPTER
  4. CLAIM YOUR PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS AS ICF ACC, PCC, MCC
  5. PRACTICE – PRACTICE
  6. CONTINUOUS STRENGTHENING OF YOUR COACHING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  7. PUT A COACH OR/AND SUPERVISOR IN YOUR LIFE:The pursuit of high goals becomes even more efficient with the best results if you add to your own “intellect” the “intellect” of other people. I often tell my students, if you want to be the best, invite the best people next to you, learn from the best, do what the best do. Champions work with champions.

Why choose an ICF-approved coaching training program?

Education from an ICF-approved program as an ACSTH or ACSTP gives you the opportunity to become immediately a member of the ICF global body and the local ICF Greece chapter. After receiving your certification of this approved program you are eligible to claim your credentials and work professionally as a coach. The credential is claimed after your basic coaching training and is an evaluation process by the ICF in terms of your experience and competence as a coach based on the established ICF core coaching skills and Code of Ethics.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the leading and global federation of professional coaches, the first to lay the foundations, framework, and standards of coaching (core competencies and code of ethics). ICFcontinuously proves its effectiveness, 25 years to date.

Why become a member of an international and local professional body such as ICF and ICF Greece respectively?

When you become a member of a professional global and then a local professional body you ensure that you are constantly informed and growing in the industry of coaching because these organizations have this mission. To keep you up-to-date and effective by evaluating the progress of the art and science of coaching. It is practically like belonging to a university that listens to society, does research, and constantly updates your knowledge and practice.

In addition, you belong to a huge network of professionals with a common vision and values for networking, mutual support, and best practices.
