Celebrating International Coaching Week (ICW) 13 – 19/5/2024

At the 1st MKO Humannera conference, a recent survey of individuals aged 18-30 revealed that their primary concern is uncertainty around how their career and personal life will shape up and whether they can achieve their aspirations.

These individuals could be our friends, colleagues, partners, relatives, or children, and it’s reasonable for us as professional coaches to take an interest in their well-being.

As coaches, we can assist them in identifying their strengths, aspirations, and abilities, clarifying their goals, and encouraging them to pursue and take the first step toward achieving them.

“YOUR TIME OF POWER” is a highly successful voluntary program that has been running for five years in a row, celebrating International Coaching Week.

This Year, it offers young men and women aged 18-30 worldwide an exceptional opportunity for growth and empowerment through its coaching program, “Speak Up and Dream Big.”

We are a group of 15 volunteer professional coaches and coach leaders, joining forces again to support young people in getting active, finding their role in society, and planning their next steps. The aim is to listen to their concerns and reflections through a targeted survey about the experiences and challenges in their searches and to empower those who will try the online Coaching experience.

Then, using the research results and the experience from the Coaching sessions, a special Workshop will be organized exclusively for the young people.

In this workshop, they will learn more about Coaching and its benefits, challenges, and dreams, which they spoke about in a safe and encouraging environment offered by the volunteer coaches.

YOUR TIME OF POWER 2024 – SCHEDULE OF ACTIONS

• April 15, 2024: We will promote the project, send invitations to participate, and invite young people to take the survey and attend the two individual coaching sessions.
• May 1 – June 26, 2024: May with “International Coaching Week” is transformed into a source of inspiration and success by holding coaching sessions!

• June 18, 2024: Workshop held for the participating young people!

The voluntary project “YOUR TIME OF POWER” is a unique initiative brought to you by the vibrant community of VIP Coaches and Leaders. Comprised of students, graduates, and teachers from the prestigious ICF Global accredited training program “Coaching Skills & Tools in Practice,”

We enthusiastically combine our shared visions and goals for progress, happiness, and personal and professional growth. We follow our dreams, overcome obstacles, and create positive change, regardless of place or living.

Our mission is clear: to uplift and support the unique needs of each social group we encounter and promote the benefits of Coaching in society.

Because we genuinely believe that the passion and drive of young minds like yours represent the beating heart of progress and the bright promise of our future!

PARTICIPATION FORM IN THE FREE SESSIONS

We invite you to answer the optional survey questions so we can get to know you better and prepare for the individual coaching sessions we will offer you (two sessions, 45 minutes each).

This process aims to help you find solutions to your concerns and achieve your personal and professional goals by working with an appropriately trained and reliable Coach.

Coaching is a dynamic dialectical collaboration that helps you discover the solution because you know best.

It is not training, psychotherapy, or counseling.

To spread this vital work, we are looking for enthusiastic partners from the media, online platforms, students, or other associations with access to young people and any other body inspired by this initiative and able to promote the action.

YOUR TIME OF POWER celebrates five years of successful action! The beginning was in 2020, during the “International Coaching Week,” where we supported the struggling Greek society and economy sectors. That Year, we provided free Coaching sessions to entrepreneurs and healthcare professionals facing the challenges of the pandemic. In 2021, we turned to the Educators of the Aegean islands and Crete, while in 2022 & 2023, we oriented ourselves to the Greeks Abroad, a move that was the starting point of a wave of solidarity to create a bridge of Greeks everywhere!
